Pastoral Team

  David and Melinda “Mendy” Jackson have been residents of the Sand Springs community for the past 8 years. They completed the construction of a home in the area in 2013 and have thoroughly enjoyed their time in Sand Springs. They have two beautiful daughters, a terrific son-in-law, and one incredible grandson.
 

  David is currently employed as an Account Manager for an international corporation serving the Oil and Gas industry. Mendy serves as an Estate Manager in the Tulsa area.

  The couple spent their early married years in Berlin, Germany as David served in the US Army from 1987-1990 in a Light Infantry Brigade. He was also deployed to serve in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

   David later completed a Religion degree and Pastoral Ministries degree for further service in the work of the Church and served as an Associate Pastor for five years in the Tulsa area.

​

   In 2019 David began to sense a new burden from the Lord, a calling into a new venture of ministry. As God led in the months that followed, the idea for Devotion Church, a new church plant in the Sand Springs community, emerged.  

​

    As Pastor of this newly formed local body, it is David's conviction that the transforming truth of God’s Holy Word is preached and taught for the equipping and discipleship of believers, the salvation of the lost, and the advancement of God’s Kingdom in preparation for the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
